The central theme of Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam (WFFR) 2025, which took place in Rotterdam and Wageningen, was BIO-diversity. The focus was on more than just species diversity. The programming aimed to give a voice to those who are often silenced – humand and non-human. Biodiversity, so says WFFR, is not only about flora and fauna, but about who we are, how we view the world and who can join in on the conversation. Just like eco systems, societies can only really flourish with a diversity of backgrounds, experiences and identities.

As WFFR’s audiovisual partner Indyvideo was responsible for the technical needs of the festival, such as screenings in Cinerama (main location of WFFR), film logistics and film control.
